Students who have completed their 12th grade can, however, sit for SSC exams for a variety of jobs such as Data Entry Operator, Postal Assistant, Stenograf, and many others.

Major points of SSC CGL exam pattern-

  • Tier 1 and tier 2 will be conducted in online mode while the next two stages will be in offline mode. 
  • Tier 1 exam consists of 100 questions, and the total marks are 200. Additionally, students get one hour (60 minutes) to solve the paper. 
  • Tier 2 exams have four papers and a total of 500 questions from four subjects. The total marks are 800 for all subjects. However, students get 120 minutes for each paper. 
  • Tier 3 is descriptive and students have to take the exam in Hindi or English. The duration of this exam is 1 hour and the total marks of this paper is 100. 
  • It also has negative marking, so 1/4 points are deducted for each incorrect answer in Tier 1.In tier 2, ¼ mark is cut in English and ½ mark for other papers. 

Is the CGL Exam tough?

Yes, when it comes to the level of difficulty SSC CGL exam is one of the toughest exams.
