Banking jobs are also an advantageous option for getting government jobs in India. Graduate students can participate in the exams held by SBI and IBPS to get the job title of bank PO (Probationary Officer). 

Students must pass prelims, main exams, and an interview round in order to pass Bank PO exams. Additionally, the syllabus of the bank PO exams includes quantitative aptitude, reasoning, English, and general & banking awareness (Mains). Apart from that, students can choose to take the exams for other posts such as bank SO, RBI grade b, bank clerk, etc. 

3. ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization)

6. Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer

ASO works for the Ministry of External Affairs. So, you have to clear the three-step SSC CGL exams in order to work on this post. Moreover, this job is considered one of the highest-paying government jobs in India. An ASO officer’s salary ranges from 1.2 lakhs to 1.8 lakhs. 

8. Defense Forces

If you have a dream of serving your country by working in one of the prominent posts in the defense forces, you can take various exams such as NDA, CDS, AFCAT, and CAPF. After clearing these exams, you can get to work in the Indian Army, Airforce, and Navy.  

9. IRPS (Indian Railway Personnel Service) officers

10. PSU (Public Sector Undertakings)

To get job profiles in this field, you have to clear the PSU exams conducted by GATE. At PSU, you have to work for various PSUs such as BHEL, IOCL, HPCL, ONGC, CIL, GAIL, and others. However, to get job profiles at PSU, you have to complete a BTech/BE degree.
