UP Police SI 2020 – Selection Process

The selection process requires candidates to qualify for all of the three stages to be considered for the position of UP Police SI this year.

The following are the three phases:

Stage I – Online Written Examination

For 400 marks in total, the written examination will be an online-based objective style paper.

Stage II – Document Verification and Physical Standard Test

In this phase, applicants need to submit all the required documents requested at the time of registration. Upon the completion of verification, the applicants will need to appear for Physical Standard Examination, conducted by the board. The candidates shall proceed to the final stage only if they meet the same criteria as specified by the board.

Stage III – Physical Efficiency Test

The Physical Efficiency Test is the final stage of the selection process, in which the board will assess the candidates’ physical fitness by having them perform different tasks. The applicants qualifying this stage will be deemed eligible for the SI post and will have to pass a final medical examination.

UP Police SI 2020 – Eligibility

The board specifies the criteria for the UP Police SI recruitment and all candidates must meet them to apply for the position. They are as follows:

UP Police SI 2020 – Salary Details

Please take a note of the salary structure and that the post of an SI is subject to numerous perks and allowances.

Basic Pay

Rs. 9300/- to Rs. 34800/-

Rs. 9300/- to Rs. 34800/- this is the base of your pay. This is the base you will get under any circumstances. It increases as you get promoted to a higher position.

Allowances

Rs. 13,500/-

Different allowances are given as a part of the salary to the employee. The salary slip of UP Police is incorporated with numerous parts of the salary. The amount of remittances is subject to different variables.

Gross Salary

Rs. 27,900- Rs. 10,44,00/-

The sum of basic pay, allowances, and perquisites is called gross salary. It increases or decreases with the salary increment and different perquisites.

Deduction

Rs. 4,000 -Rs. 24,000/-

These are Provident Fund, Employees’ State Insurance and Income Tax. This amount is deducted from Gross salary on monthly basis.

Salary in hand

Rs. 24,000- Rs. 80,400/-

It indicates the salary after adding all the allowance and deducting all the deductions.
